The Golden Era of the Gibson Thinlines |
Here is a really pretty 1961 ES-335TDC from the collection of Mike Slubowski. As with most of Mike's guitars, it is exceptionally clean.
This is one of the lightest I have ever seen at 7lbs. 5.5oz.
As well as being an aficionado of vintage ES Thinlnes, Mike is an acknowledged authority on Gibson Les Paul guitars. Some of his articles can be read at The Les Paul Forum.
