Some guitars get around. This one is well travelled. Made in Kalamazoo, it originally went to the South somewhere. Then back to Michigan for a few years, then on to New York, Connecticut and New Hampshire. It currently resides in Austin, TX in the extremely capable hands of my friend Michael Minnis.
I played this guitar for several hours while it was in New Hampshire, and it is truly one of the great ones. Great neck and feel to it and just a beautiful example.
The color is great, the finish checking is great. And it's got that black varitone ring. Very sweet guitar that I should have bought myself.
This is the earliest example on the site of a Sunburst ES-345.
