Gibson Peghead

The Golden Era of the Gibson Thinlines

The big boomer. These basses have never been very popular but they are cool anyway. At least Chas. Chandler thought so. And so do I. Great for guitar players due to the shorter scale length.

The one at the left is a 1958 EB-2 with no Baritone swich and a single-coil pickup. It's the only pic I have of it so ther is no deatil page.

Pic and guitar courtesy of an anonymous friend.

But there are two more up under the 1959 tab.
